About the Tele cub
Cub bridge pickups for Tele use Alnico-5 magnets and have an ohm range up to 7k. It has the classic Tele twang, bright and punchy. Crisp high end, slightly scooped mids, and a tight bass. Great for country twang. Cub Neck pickups for Tele use Alnico-5 and have an ohm range about 7.5k ohms. This is a warm, smooth pickup; also vintage sounding.
Clark Amplifiers used the Bitch and Cub neck in their soundclips.

I have an older Tele Bitch bridge pickup and was running it with a Seymour Duncan vintage mini-humbucker in the neck. I wanted to switch to a regular single coil in the neck. Got a Tele Cub neck pickup today, installed it, and it sounds great. It mixes well with the Tele Bitch at the bridge. Highly recommend this combo.
